COURSE STRUCTURE FOR CFP® CERTIFICATION EXAMINATION REVIEW

Be Prepared

Since this is a Live Review to prepare you to PASS the CFP® exam, it is assumed that you have studied (at the very minimum) the pre-study material provided by us or material from a similar review course program. It is also assumed that you have an in-depth understanding of the six course areas and the fundamentals of financial planning before attending the review.

The Live Review centers on application, analysis, and case evaluation. We move quickly and, because of our tight schedule, questions during class time will be limited to the material for the CFP® exam. Personal interest questions will not be permitted during class time.

THE BRETT DANKO COMPREHENSIVE LIVE REVIEW INCLUDES:

Pre-Study Materials

All pre-study material is updated for the next scheduled exam and has over 3,500 questions consisting of quizzes, mock exams, and case studies. The pre-study material takes approximately 120-140 hours of study prior to attending the Live Review.

Class Material

The Live Review uses a special classroom book designed by Brett Danko so that you only have to take limited notes. The material in the book is focused and the content is structured to coordinate with, but not duplicate, information that is either covered in the various CFP Board-Registered Programs or various self-study materials available nationally.

Case Studies

As you may (or may not) know, case studies and mini cases are part of the CFP® exam. The pre-study cases contain the building blocks of case studies – the material begins with basic case studies, and then they expand in length, complexity, and intensity, building upon the lessons learned in the previous cases.

In addition, there are several full case studies and mini cases in the Live Review book. Following the review and just prior to the actual CFP® exam, an additional 480 questions are available online as part of the exam prep process.

Study Plan

Brett provides a detailed Study Plan that takes you from the last day of the Live Review to your specific exam date. This will help you solidify concepts and efficiently use your remaining study time before your test date.

Requirements:

Since this is a Live Review, it will be assumed that all participants will have studied, at the very minimum, the pre-study material that Brett Danko provides (or material from a similar review course program) and will have an in-depth understanding of the six course areas plus fundamentals before attending.

Because of a very tight schedule, questions during class time will be limited to the material for the CFP® Certification Examination. Personal interest questions will not be allowed during class time. You may enroll in a Live Review and then switch to a Virtual Review, but because space is limited, there will be no refund of any price difference.
