Course Structure for
CFP®
Certification Examination Review
Since this is a Live Review, it will be assumed that all
participants will have studied at the very minimum the pre-study material that
Ken Zahn will provide or material from similar review course programs, and will
have an in-depth understanding of the five course areas plus fundamentals
before attending. Instruction will center more on application, analysis and
case evaluation. Because of a very tight schedule, questions during class time
will be limited to the material for the
CFP®
Certification Examination. Personal interest questions will not be allowed
during class time.
All prestudy material has been updated for the current exam. The
prestudy material has approximately 1,800 questions including quizzes, mock
exams and cases. The prestudy material takes approximately 120-140 hours prior
to attending the Live Review Class.
The Live Review uses a special classroom book designed by Ken Zahn.
The book is designed so that you will have to take only limited
notes. The material in the book is condensed and focused. The book content is
structured to coordinate with, but not duplicate, information that is either
covered in the various CFP Board-Registered Programs or various self-study
materials available nationally.
As you may or may not know, there are three cases as part of the
CFP®
Certification Examination. The prestudy contains the building blocks to case
study. It starts with the basic cases that continue to grow in length and
intensity. There are numerous cases in the prestudy. In addition, there are
nine full cases in the Live Review book.
