Brett Danko, CFP® grew up in Pittsburgh, PA and is a cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. Brett has held positions as Chief Administrative Officer of a privately managed group of investment funds and subsequently was the Chief Administrative Officer for a financial software company. In January of 2001, Brett left this business to complete his certification in financial planning and officially became a CFP® professional in 2002.

He is involved in various aspects of financial planning and education. In addition to teaching all the CFP® Certification required education courses and the “live review” for those taking the CFP® Board certification examination, Brett is the President of a fee-only financial planning company (Main Street Financial Solutions, LLC) and a featured nationwide lecturer on matters of personal finance.

Brett lives in Lawrenceville, NJ with his wife and two children.
